Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band

Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band is the long-running backing group assembled by Bob Seger in 1973. The band became the vehicle for Seger's national breakthrough and accompanied him on his most celebrated studio and live recordings. Core members over the decades included Alto Reed (saxophone), Chris Campbell (bass), Craig Frost (keyboards), Drew Abbott (guitar), and Robyn Robbins (keyboards). The Silver Bullet Band is particularly celebrated for its raw, muscular live performances captured on Live Bullet (1976).
