Released on October 29, 1976, Night Moves was Bob Seger's commercial and artistic breakthrough. Produced by Jack Richardson, the album reached #8 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the iconic title track, a nostalgic meditation on youth and adolescence. The album established the template for Seger's heartland rock sound and remains one of his most beloved records. It was certified quadruple platinum in the United States.
